Supporting our sisters currently doing sex work, whether it's on the street or on-line is an important part of our work at TransCEND. Many of us, and many of the girls we work with, have been there. Our community space, house parties and groups are places where sex work can be discussed openly and without judgement. Finding health care providers that are also non-judgemental about sex work can be difficult, especially for transgender women. We ensure any providers coming into our space to work with us, are also sensitive to the needs of girls currently in the life.
