Boston AIDS Walk was held at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston
on June 5th, 2011.
It was a bright sunny and warm Sunday, where 10,000 to 15,000 people came out to mark 30 years of AIDS ~ 30 years of caring for loved ones, fighting ignorance, and taking action to end the epidemic.
Our goal was to raise $1500; with the help of our TransCEND members,
Team volunteers and allies like The Network/La Red,
we were able to surpass our goal.
By the start of the day Sunday morning we officially were at $2000!
We are proud to say that the TransCEND walking team
raised $2036 for Boston AIDS Walk!!!
Thank you to all who supported by donating, joining our team & fundraising, to those who spread the word and
to those who cheered us on.
