Winter Tea Party

Members of Boston’s chapter of GLAD (Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders) gathered at the Westin Copley over the weekend for their Winter Tea Dance, which included an auction, a raffle, and dance music courtesy of DJ Mocha. The afternoon party, which featured an Oscar-inspired awards ceremony for locals who do good work in the gay community, was attended by a number of familiar faces including performer Eugene Tan, AIDS outreach worker Bliss Tyler, and Joanne Herman, author of “Transgender Explained for Those Who Are Not.’’
