About The Network/La Red

Over the past 21 years The Network/La Red has been working to end abuse in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, SM and poly communities. What started as a group of lesbian survivors of abuse, with an answering machine in a closet, has grown steadily into a statewide non-profit organization offering bilingual support services in English and Spanish for survivors of partner abuse, as well as community education, and trainings for service providers. The Network/La Red is known nationally for their survivor-led support practices and is comprised mostly of dedicated volunteers who give their time monthly.
